SNL Erupts in Laughter as Heidi Gardner Loses It During Hilarious Beavis & Butt-Head Cameo
A blast from the past is about to begin! The most recent episode of Saturday Night Live finished with laughs due to a perfect imitation of Beavis & Butthead.
In the sketch, Kenan Thompson played an MIT professor, while Heidi Gardner played a NewsNation journalist facilitating a town hall discussion on artificial intelligence. However, things take a turn for the worst when presenter Ryan Gosling’s character, played by Thompson, starts to get increasingly sidetracked by a viewer who appears to be a close friend of Beavis, replete with the famous flat-top hairstyle and blue shirt.
When Thompson begs “Beavis” to move, Gardner turns around. This is the point at which chaos really sets in. At the sight of Gosling’s Beavis, Gardner completely loses it, losing all composure and bursting into tears.
But the good times don’t end there! “Beavis” disappears as Gardner tries to gather herself, to be replaced by another member of the audience—Mikey Day—who is channeling his inner Butt-Head. Gardner is finished now, melting into laughter as the audience lets out a cheer.
The comedic value of the scene doesn’t decrease. The conversation about AI is eventually further derailed when the Beavis and Butthead impersonators are finally brought to the forefront, where they start cracking each other up with their trademark laughter.
You will laugh so hard you won’t be able to stop laughing at SNL’s masterful portrayal of Beavis & Butthead’s unpredictable humor. A hilarious sketch that you shouldn’t miss!
